Before Komuso became successful, we constantly wrestled with obstacles, doubt, and stress. The samurai taming the bull depicted in the amulet symbolizes the ancient Japanese philosophy that adversity makes you better. Our struggle became our way forward. When you embrace that struggle, you emerge stronger. Change (kai) becomes good (zen).
The Kaizen attitude
Change has always been the one constant in our lives. Adopting a Kaizen attitude means dominating the present moment in order to identify the best actions to perform now, which will allow us to dominate the future. This domination is only possible if you embrace change. The human mind will wander and try to create negative consequences (anxiety) which blocks the realization of our true self. We must undertake this personal struggle against our minds to free it from this fear. We must tame the bull.
The creation process
Komuso proudly collaborated with one of the world’s most talented illustrators to bring the concept to life. Steven Noble just celebrated a remarkable 25 years as a highly decorated and globally renowned sketch artist. He was just recognized by a panel of judges (amongst his peers) as one of the “Best Illustrators Worldwide” and has designed the official logo of the White House, Kraken Rum, and many of world’s best known wine labels.
